Alpha Rajan & Partners have appointed Nikita Misra as a partner at their recently launched Dubai office to spearhead the firm’s UAE, Middle East and North Africa operations.
She has more than 12 years of experience in advising and handling corporate transactions, drafting and vetting commercial contracts, and corporate restructurings.
“Alpha Rajan & Partners has a strong corporate and funds practice. Their vast range of their corporate work coupled with their inclination to dabble in new and emerging technologies including fintech and crypto, perfectly complemented my corporate experience.
“Given that they were expanding their footprint in the Middle East, it felt right for me to be a part of this excellent team and work together towards building the firm’s presence in the Middle East,” Misra told India Business Law Journal.
Prior to joining Alpha Rajan & Partners, she has worked with various law firms and corporate legal departments in India before moving to Dubai in 2018 where she served as a legal consultant for The Firm Dubai.
Leading multinationals are among her clients, including Havells India, Emaar’s Motor & General Finance and Sobha real estate developers.
Misra has assisted clients with their internal prevention of sexual harassment (PoSH) policies, and trained their employees, managers and internal complaint committee on issues pertaining to PoSH laws.
Alpha Rajan & Partners now has five partners and 20 associates.
