Argus Partners named Bhavya Mohan as a partner in the dispute resolution practice from June at the firm’s Bengaluru office.

Prior to joining Argus, she was an advocate with Arista Chambers, and as an associate at AZB & Partners and Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A Shroff & Co.

Mohan, with 10 years of experience behind him, focuses on commercial dispute resolution, and advises private clients, public sector enterprises, and multinational corporations who are industry leaders across sectors such as manufacturing, retail, infrastructure, banking, technology, real estate and private equity. She even advises clients in regulatory investigations.

“I look forward to augmenting the firm’s presence in the commercial litigation and arbitration space. I will be running the litigation and dispute resolution practice of the firm in Bangalore,” Mohan told India Business Law Journal.

Mohan has represented clients in domestic and international arbitrations at the International Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and the London Court of International Arbitration.

She has acted for clients in complex commercial litigation before various courts across India (such as the Supreme Court and High Courts in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi), and specialised tribunals or quasi-judicial authorities, like the Securities Appellate Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal and the Debt Recovery Tribunal/Appellate Tribunal.
