Sumit Sinha, who has joined Phoenix Legal as a partner, brings on board two colleagues, Ashima Dewan who becomes associate partner and Sukanya Bhattacharya will be a senior associate.
With more than 17 years of experience, Sinha joins the firm’s general corporate, M&A, private equity and venture capital practice in New Delhi. His expertise covers M&A, joint ventures, private equity, restructuring, investigations and more.
Sinha advises global and local clients, including banks, businesses, and funds in various sectors. With vast transactional expertise, he has managed intricate corporate fraud probes and regulations.
Sinha previously worked at Trilegal, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (formerly Amarchand Mangaldas), J Sagar Associates and DMD Advocates.
He was recognised as among India Business Law Journal’s future legal leaders in 2020.
