Saraf and Partners has established a new office in Hyderabad to solidify the firm’s presence in the region.
Heading the Hyderabad office are partners Durga Bose Gandham and Altaf Fathima who have joined from DSK Legal.
Mohit Saraf, founder and managing partner of Saraf and Partners, said “We’re pleased to welcome Durga and Altaf along with their team to the firm. They have worked very closely with me for four years. We have a strong and growing client base in Hyderabad, and this expansion will significantly enhance our ability to serve our clients in the region.” Both Gandham and Fathima were part of Luthra & Luthra and have worked with Mohit Saraf for four years.
Gandham has more than two decades of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. His practice includes insolvency laws, general corporate matters, arbitration and banking issues. Gandham has successfully represented Indian, US, Asia-Pacific and European companies across various sectors.
Fathima also has more than two decades of extensive experience. She is an advocate-on-record at the Supreme Court of India and specialises in general and commercial litigation, real estate, consumer laws, employment and labour disputes, enforcement directorate matters, and criminal law-related litigation and advisory.
In a joint statement, Gandham and Fathima said, “We are excited to bring the entire DSK Legal Hyderabad team to Saraf and Partners. This move is a testament to our belief in Mr Saraf and the firm’s vision, and our commitment to our clients.”
The addition of the Hyderabad office coincided with the firm’s annual day event. With this announcement, Saraf and Partners now has a team of 235 including 37 partners across four offices in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
