Rohit Sharma has taken up the role of legal counsel for South Asia at Becton Dickinson, a leading medical device manufacturing company, based in Gurgaon.
Before his transition to this in-house role, Sharma was an associate partner at Economic Laws Practice. Additionally, he worked at Karanjawala & Co under the guidance of senior advocate Geeta Luthra.
With 14 years of experience, Sharma has worked on legal, compliance and regulatory matters across diverse industries, including pharmaceuticals, mining, telecoms and healthcare.
Sharma previously served as the director of legal and compliance at global medical technology company Zimmer Biomet, focusing on India and other South Asian countries. His responsibilities also extended to the manufacturing of orthopaedic products and the provision of robotic solutions in the healthcare sector.
