Dentons has strengthened its litigation and dispute resolution practice in Greater China with the appointment of Benjamin Ng as a partner in Hong Kong.
Ng joins from Ashurst, now known as Ashurst Perkins Coie, where he spent six years and most recently served as counsel. Prior to that, he worked at several firms, including Deacons and DLA Piper.
He specialises in complex commercial, financial and banking disputes, with a particular focus on matters involving cross-border elements, along with regulatory investigations and other contentious regulatory issues. His practice serves a broad client base, including global financial institutions, listed companies, multinational corporations, fund investors and trustees, senior executives and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
“Benjamin’s appointment reflects Dentons’ continued investment in its litigation and dispute resolution practice in Hong Kong and Greater China. His track record in complex disputes and regulatory matters, particularly in the financial services sector, makes him an excellent addition to our team,” Keith Brandt, Dentons’ Hong Kong office managing partner, told Asia Business Law Journal.
“Hong Kong remains a key market for Dentons and we are committed to strengthening our capabilities in response to client demand.”
