The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Asia Pacific has marked its first event in Malaysia, bringing together senior in-house counsel in Kuala Lumpur for an evening of networking and professional exchange in partnership with Shearn Delamore & Co.
The inaugural gathering drew corporate legal leaders from across Malaysia, reflecting growing demand for peer-to-peer engagement and knowledge sharing within the in-house community.
Guests were welcomed by Shearn Delamore & Co partners Lilien Wong and Anand Raj, the latter serving as president of the Malaysian Bar.
ACC Asia Pacific said the strong turnout and level of engagement underscored the increasing interest in creating opportunities for in-house counsel to connect and exchange ideas.
While the ACC does not yet have an official chapter in Malaysia, the organisation said the event marked the start of its long-term commitment to the market. ACC Asia Pacific plans to expand its presence through additional educational programmes and networking events.
