The International Trademark Association (INTA) has announced that Etienne Sanz de Acedo will be its new CEO. Sanz de Acedo will be introduced at INTA’s annual conference in Dallas in May. He joins the organization from the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, the European Union agency responsible for overseeing trademarks and designs, where he serves as head of communications. He replaces current CEO Alan Drewsen who will retire this summer.
