Han Kun Law Offices has expanded its reach to New York, marking the second office outside China for the firm following its Singapore branch in June. The new office functions as a limited liability partnership under the name Han Kun LLP.
Han Kun says this endeavour is “another important strategic move in the internationalisation process, with the goal of further enhancing Han Kun’s capacity to support its clients’ global ventures”.
The new office’s managing partner Mike Chiang originally joined Han Kun in 2013 and recently rejoined the firm after a five-year tenure at the US law firm Holland & Knight. He specialises in cross-border M&A and investments, and manages commercial disputes, litigation and arbitration cases.
