Grandall Law Firm has hired equity partners Lyon Dong and Du Xiaomin to join the Shanghai and Wuhan offices, respectively, boosting its cross-border and construction sectors.
Dong has expertise in handling cross-border M&A, USD funds, and domestic and foreign capital markets. He has advised many Chinese companies on M&A, equity transactions, joint ventures, etc., with famous multinationals such as Pfizer, Merck Sharp & Dohme and Baring Private Equity Asia.
He has bar qualifications in China and California, and has been admitted to federal courts in the US. Dong was a partner at V&T Law Firm and practiced at Morgan Lewis, Wilson Sonsini, and JunHe.
Du focuses on the construction, corporate operations, civil and commercial disputes, and the investment and financing M&A sectors. Her career began as a legal counsel and construction management engineer at Hubei Gongjian Group Tumu Building Engineering. She was previously a partner at Yingchu Law Firm.
