Global Law Office has added partners, Jia Yong, Yao Ping and Lilian Li to strengthen its Beijing headquarters.

Jia specialises in PE, investment funds, asset management, and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on the real estate and construction sector. His advisory work encompasses issuance, management, and exit strategies for quasi-REITs, CMBS, CMBN, ABN, MTN and PPN projects.

Yao focuses on cross-border investment, M&A, PE, investment funds and capital markets. She has provided legal services to renminbi and US dollar denominated funds, state-owned equity investment funds, and industrial investors. She has offered her expertise to many startups in the pharmaceutical and healthcare, new energy, semiconductor and TMT industries.

Previously, Jia and Yao were partners at Zhong Lun Law Firm.

Li brings extensive in-house counsel experience to her role. She served as legal counsel at Louis Dreyfus China, then became the head of the legal and compliance department and the data protection officer at VFS Global China. Prior to Global Law, Li jumped to a data company under China Electronics as general counsel. She specialises in M&A, compliance, outbound investments, healthcare and ESG investments.
