DeHeng Law Offices has opened in Vientiane, Laos, its first office in Southeast Asia and its second overseas location after setting up in Seoul, to develop Belt and Road Initiative business.
Partner Harrison Jia, who will be director of the Vientiane branch, has expertise in cross-border investments and M&A, and is a lawyer in the international investment legal affairs database of the Ministry of Commerce.
DeHeng said the Laos branch will provide services in commercial project matching, corporate operational risk prevention and dispute resolution from Belt and Road Initiative opportunities.
