DeHeng Law Offices has expanded its global presence with the opening of a new office in Seoul this April, marking its 11th overseas branch.
Led by partner Zhu Cuiying, the office offers legal services on Korean investment, litigation and arbitration, intellectual property, anti-unfair competition and franchising.
As bilateral trade between China and South Korea reached USD360 billion in 2021 and China maintained its position as South Korea’s top trading partner for 18 years, the firm expects to capitalise on these strong economic ties.
DeHeng anticipates that co-operation between the two nations will strengthen further, as both countries move forward with the implementation of the bilateral free-trade agreement between China and South Korea, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
