Singapore-based aviation claims and insurance specialist Terence Liew is set to join Clyde & Co as a global aviation practice partner after 11 years, including four as a partner, at Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW).
Liew is a dispute resolution and aviation lawyer covering commercial and uninsured aviation work in Asia. He is experienced in acting for a diverse portfolio of aviation and aerospace clients from across the region. Beyond contentious issues, he also works on non-contentious matters, including regulatory and commercial areas in the aviation sector.
Clyde & Co operates in Singapore as a joint law venture with local law firm Clasis, allowing Liew, who is qualified in Malaysia, Singapore, the Republic of Ireland and England and Wales, to provide onshore and offshore services to clients.
Kevin Sutherland, Clyde & Co’s partner and chair of the global aviation practice group, said in San Fransisco that the Asia-Pacific’s aviation market is the fastest growing in the world and Liew’s addition ensures the firm meets the diverse range of legal needs in the industry.
