Alok Shankar, a partner at HSA Advocates, has joined Saraf & Partners, which has been on a hiring spree. Shankar will work in New Delhi in the firm’s projects, regulatory and litigation practice. Shankar has 14 years of experience in regulatory and general disputes in the areas of power and energy, mining and aviation in addition to disputes related to contractual agreements or constitutional rights.

“Joining Saraf & Partners is like a second innings working with Mr Saraf. The role is more diverse this time and, in addition to the projects and infrastructure related issues, I would also be doing regulatory litigation,” Shankar told India Business Law Journal.
Mohit Saraf, the founder and managing partner of Saraf & Partners, mentored Shankar during his time at L&L Partners from May 2008 to December 2012. Saraf was previously senior partner at L&L Partners before starting his own firm in July 2021.
