Presolv360 – an online dispute resolution institution collaborating with various courts, government and private entities – has established an advisory council to facilitate smooth processing.

The council includes chief justices UU Lalit, BN Srikrishna and Justice Kannan Krishnamoorthy. The advisory board aims to provide guidance on legal, ethical, procedural and policy-related activities.

India Business Law Journal has yet to receive replies from requests for comment from the chief justices.

With the recent enactment of legislation on mediation and the ongoing review of India’s arbitration laws, there is a renewed focus on institutional alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in India.

Presolv360 aligns with the government’s vision and aims to make online dispute resolution akin to the unique payment interface (UPI) that emerged as a global success story from India.

There is an emphasis on the importance of strong institutions backing technological advancements in the dispute resolution ecosystem. Online dispute resolution could become a crucial element in the ADR landscape.

While India leads in the adoption of online dispute resolution, its companies often resolve disputes in other countries with the most popular being Singapore. Presolv360 believes that establishing credible, cost-effective and efficient institutions will propel the country further in the online dispute resolution journey. Founders of Presolv360 want it to become synonymous with ADR in the country and the region.
