L&S executive partner leaves
J Sagar Associates has hired Shafaq Uraizee Sapre as a partner in the firm’s Mumbai office. Sapre joins from Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, where she was an executive partner and head of corporate practice for west and south India.
Sapre will be working with corporate partner Sandeep Mehta, who has been with the firm since 2008. She specializes in M&A, joint ventures (JV) and private equity investments, and has 18 years of experience. She has also worked as the head of the JV practice at Nishith Desai Associates, and as a partner at Bharucha & Partners.
HSA hires banking partner
HSA Advocates has inducted Sharmil Bhushan as a partner in the Mumbai office. Bhushan joins from Khaitan Legal Associates and she focuses on financial services and insurance.
