Mumbai-based law firm Juris Corp has promoted five lawyers to the partnership.
The new partners are Huzefa Nasikwala, a litigator; Sonali Sharma, a securitization and structured finance expert; Vandana Sekhri, a member of the firm’s structured finance team; Hoshedar Wadia, who is experienced in over-the-counter derivatives and securities laws; and Nisar Ookabhoy, a corporate finance and lending specialist.
Founded by H Jayesh in 2000, Juris Corp is unusual in that it has chosen to specialize in an industry sector rather than a field of legal practice.
Although best known for its work in derivatives and structured finance, the firm offers the full range of legal services to a highly targeted client base of banks and other international financial institutions.
