JSA has assisted Prism Johnson, formerly Prism Cements, in its investment for an undisclosed amount in Renew Green (MPR Two), which will develop a 23MW wind power project in Madhya Pradesh.

Partners Visnu Sudarshan and Shashank Singh led the JSA team with assistance from associate Nishtha Shukla.

Renew Green is a special purpose vehicle promoted by ReNew Green Energy Solutions.

The Madhya Pradesh project marks Prism’s first investment in wind power. Prism aims to fulfil the electricity needs of its cement production facility in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, which already has a waste heat recovery system and multiple installed and commissioned solar power projects.

Prism’s decision to procure renewable power aligns with its long-term strategy of reducing carbon emissions and transitioning towards sustainable energy sources to meet its power consumption requirements.
