Appleby will add John McCarroll SC as a partner to bolster its dispute resolution team in Hong Kong which takes effect in mid-April.

McCarroll, who will relocate from the British Virgin Islands (BVI), brings more than three decades of experience in complex commercial disputes, bringing expertise in company law, trusts, regulatory matters, insolvency, receivership and financial services.
Before joining Appleby, McCarroll held positions at another offshore law firm in the BVI and previously practised at the Chancery Bar in England and Wales, as well as the Bar of Ireland.
