Greenberg Traurig has welcomed Jake Robson as co-managing shareholder of its Singapore office and head of the South and Southeast Asia M&A practice.

Richard Rosenbaum, executive chairman at Greenberg Traurig, said: “Adding someone with Robson’s results-driven reputation is the latest step in realising our firm’s strategic vision to widen the breadth and worldwide presence of our top-tier M&A and private equity practices; legal areas are expected to experience dramatic growth in the coming years.”

Robson joins from King & Wood Mallesons, where he led the firm’s South and Southeast Asia corporate and M&A practices. He also helped establish the M&A practice in Singapore for Morrison & Foerster.

With nearly two decades of experience, Robson has expertise in advising strategic and private capital clients on intricate cross-border transactions.

“The firm has begun to build a fantastic brand here in energy and infrastructure, real estate and project finance. My goal is to take that brand forward in M&A,” Robson said.
