Japan network hard at work on events

The Japan In-house Counsel Network (JICN) has held a series of presentations this year focusing on issues resonating with its membership.

On May 27, JICN welcomed lawyers from TMI Associates for a presentation entitled: Japanese Tax Law Practices for In-house Counsel. JICN closed out its event year in June by welcoming Hogan Lovells for a presentation on managing third party risk in the FCPA/anti-corruption context. In April, JICN hosted a special Attorney Ethics Boot Camp and Ethical Culture Primer. The speakers were F. Frederic Fouad, a Professor at Beasley School of Law, Temple University, Japan Campus, and Royanne Doi, Corporate Chief Ethics Officer, Prudential Financial.

In March, Salesforce Japan provided the venue for a speaking event entitled Common Challenges and Best Practices in Global Commercial Contract Management. Meanwhile JICN’s February event, The Art of Corporate Crisis Management, was hosted by Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu.
