Iconix Brand Group has formed a joint venture with Reliance Brands, a part of Reliance Industries.
Iconix owns, licenses, and markets brands to retailers and manufacturers ranging from the luxury market to the mass market in the US and worldwide.
Gibson Dunn & Crutcher advised Iconix. Gibson Dunn’s team included partner-in-charge of the firm’s Singapore office Jai Pathak, California partner David Kennedy, New York partner Barbara Becker, and Singapore associate Priya Mehra. Linklaters and Reliance’s in-house team advised Reliance Brands on the deal.
