The Hangzhou office of Grandway Law Offices has hired Chen Xuyan, Yang Jie, Ni Jindan, Pan Junhui and Zhao Xun as partners, in an effort to bolster its local business.

Chen and Pan were formerly senior partners at Zeda Law Firm, while Yang previously worked as a partner at T&C Law Firm. Ni and Zhao both worked for Grandall Law Firm before joining Grandway.

Specialising in litigation and arbitration, M&A and restructuring, Chen brought a wealth of experience in corporate legal counsel and handling corporate, partnership, contract, and unfair competition disputes.

Pan focuses on complex civil and commercial dispute resolutions, with extensive experience in dispute resolution in the areas of investment and financing, construction work, enforcement objections and appeals, and specialises in the rules of sham litigation.

Yang has advised dozens of companies on IPO matters and acted on perennial legal counsel, investment and financing, refinancing and M&A to many funds and listed companies.

Yang started her career as a lawyer at Grandall Law Firm in 2006 and after a short stint at the investment bank department of GF Securities, she returned to the external legal profession joining T&C Law Firm.

Ni and Zhao both have expertise in IPO, refinancing, M&A, restructuring, investment and financing, and equity incentives. Furthermore, Zhao holds the qualified independent director status permitted by the SZSE.
