Fintech firm Kissht secures USD80mn in funding boost

Vertex Growth and the government-owned corporation, Brunei Investment Agency, were lead investors in consumer lending fintech firm Kissht raising USD80 million in fresh funding. IndusLaw and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas were advisers in the deal.

The Singapore based Vertex Growth is part of Vertex’s global network of venture capital funds comprised of affiliates in China, Israel, Southeast Asia and India, and the US. Founded in 2019, it manages in excess of USD750 million in assets, funding more than 20 companies and eight unicorn startups.

Existing investors, Vertex Ventures SEA and India and Endiya Partners, also participated in the fresh funding round via primary investment and secondary acquisition.

IndusLaw advised Vertex Growth, Brunei Investment Agency, Vertex Ventures, Endiya Partners, Ventureast and Sistema Asia Fund on this deal. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was legal counsel to Kissht.
