JSA has advised technology investment firm B Capital on an additional injection of capital into e-mobility startup Bounce, operated by Wickedride Adventure Services, for an undisclosed amount.
Partners Manvinder Singh and Anant Mishra led the JSA transaction team with the assistance of senior associate Archi Roy and associate Parnik Saxena.
The team assisted on intricate structuring to realign the shareholding positions of various investors, ensuring compliance with regulations under the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other laws.
Wickedride conducted a series E round to raise funds for its Bengaluru-based Bounce, an e-mobility startup that specialises in dockless electric scooters and swappable battery services. Bounce aims to offer scooters without batteries to substantially reduce costs for consumers.
B Capital invested in INR680 million (USD8 million) in a series C funding round in June 2019.
