Delhi High Court has appointed Kangan Roda, founding partner of illuminIP, as a senior panel counsel.
“As I step into the role of senior panel counsel for the government of India for Delhi High Court, I am deeply committed to harnessing this opportunity to its fullest extent,” said Roda on her appointment.
She added, “[I am] looking forward to the role with the highest standards of integrity, advocacy and service, ensuring that justice prevails and the interests of our society are staunchly defended.”
Roda, who has been practising the law since 2014, leads her firm’s intellectual property and civil litigation practice. She is also recognised as an empanelled advocate for civil laws by Delhi High Court (middle income group) Legal Aid Society.
With a focus on intellectual property rights encompassing trademarks, copyright and designs, Roda has represented prominent companies across diverse sectors such as fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, IT and banking.
Her expertise extends to areas including trademark, copyright and patent violations, as well as anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting actions, breach of contract and consumer complaints.
