A call for stringent measures

Business Law Journal, letter to the editor

Dear Sir,

Your article on cybersquatting (Piracy in another domain, IBLJ volume I issue 7) highlights a very important IP concern for small and large corporations alike.

The proactive monitoring and brand protection measures that are created by the presence of cybersquatters and the bulk registration of domain names are extremely costly to businesses. These costs are ultimately passed on to consumers.
