Yvonne Huang and Jessica Jin have joined the Shanghai office of Boss & Young Attorneys at Law as partners to strengthen its insolvency restructuring and compliance practices.
Huang, formerly a partner at Jin Mao Law Firm, focuses on corporate bankruptcy protection and restructuring, trading and disposal of distressed assets, corporate law, and M&A. She has acted for parties in national, insolvency, restructuring and liquidation cases.
She has represented Shanghai Minghong Investment in its bankruptcy restructuring in the first case for the Shanghai Bankruptcy Court. She also provided services to creditors in Huishan Dairy’s group merger and reorganisation involving 83 corporates among other notable cases.
Jin, formerly the compliance principal at J&J MedTech in China and the Asia-Pacific, has expertise in compliance, competence and antitrust, and M&A matters.
She can provide services for businesses, including negotiation, model innovation, labour and personnel, government relations and investigations. In compliance, Jin can design and build systems, implement policy development and training, offer third-party risk management, corporate internal investigations, etc. Her clients cover various industries, including biomedicine, manufacturing, construction, retail, e-communications, luxury, tobacco, etc.
