Baker McKenzie & KL Partners Joint Venture (Baker McKenzie KLP JV) has added leading arbitration practitioner David Kim as a partner in Seoul, significantly strengthening its capabilities in South Korea.
Kim brings international arbitration experience as the former lead of the International Construction Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Lee & Ko. His expertise spans cases before renowned arbitration institutions such as the International Court of Arbitration, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board and the London Court of International Arbitration.

Baker McKenzie has recently expanded its Korean capabilities through a groundbreaking joint venture with KL Partners. Officially approved by Korea’s Ministry of Justice in October, Baker McKenzie KLP JV launched in November, boasting a team of more than 20 lawyers.
