Aquilaw has advised OJB Herbals in an equity investment deal with First Bridge India Growth Fund, raising INR500 million (USD6 million).
Managing partner Sucharita Basu and partner Suhana Islam Murshedd led the Aquilaw team, with the assistance of principal associate Subhasree Pani, and associates Anwesha S Mukherjee and Milind Anand.
The investment comprises the purchase of series A compulsorily convertible preference shares in OJB, which is known for its Oshea Herbals and Louis Herbals brands. The company offers a diverse range of herbal skincare, haircare and body care products.
