Du Xiaocheng, a former principal at TianTong Law Firm in Xi’an, has joined JunHe as the head of the team in the capital of Shaanxi province.
Du specialises in dispute resolution, particularly in the sectors of energy, banking and finance, company management, and construction in northwest China.
His clients include major financial institutions and large-scale enterprises, such as Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, ICBC, PetroChina, Sinopec and China Huadian Corporation.
Last year, China Business Law Journal selected Du among the lawyers named Growth Drivers in the A-List 2023-24. He was also awarded as among the Rising Stars the year before.
Du serves in various associations and a government body in Shaanxi. He is the legislative expert on the 14th Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Congress, the deputy director of the Environmental, Resources and Energy Law Committee within the Shaanxi Lawyers Association, and the chief adviser of the Shaanxi LNG Industry Association.
Three partners, including Shi Qi and Wang Boyang in March, have joined JunHe since its Xi’an office opened in February. Previously, all of them worked at TianTong.
