Yuanhe Partners was established in 2011 with Beijing-based managing partner Kirk Xing wanting to develop the firm around one or two core businesses. He told China Business Law Journal in 2019: “Practice tells us that a small but comprehensive firm will lose in competition because it has no leverage in geography and business coverage.”

Twelve Tables Law Firm was set up in 2019 by Zhang Hairuo, Andy Xiang and Bob Jin as a boutique partnership specialising in IP litigation and antitrust cases.

Both firms were winners in the China Business Law Awards 2020.
