Zhong Lun Law Firm has welcomed four partners to strengthen its capabilities in the capital markets and intellectual property sectors in the Qingdao, Shanghai and Shenzhen offices.

Liang Junjie and Sheng Yongpan, previously partners at Global Law Office, joins the Shenzhen branch of Zhong Lun, Meng Wenxiang will be based in Shanghai, and Shi Xin will work from Qingdao.

Liang specialises in domestic and international capital markets, bankruptcy liquidation, and restructuring. He advised on the listing of Yeal Electric, one of the first companies accepted after the ChiNext reform took effect and the pilot registration-based IPO system. He was also a partner at Jingtian & Gongcheng.

Sheng has been deeply involved in IP matters for more than a decade and holds a patent agent licence. His expertise covers IP licensing and enforcement. His experience at the Shenzhen Administration for Marketing Regulation and the Market Inspection Bureau made him skilled in handling antitrust and competition law matters.

Meng was previously a partner at Grandway Law Offices. With more than 10 years of experience in domestic and international capital markets and investment M&A, he focuses on the military, semiconductor, and new energy and materials sectors.

Shi, previously a partner at King & Wood Mallesons, specialises in domestic and international capital markets, debt restructuring and non-performing asset transactions. She has provided legal services for companies such as Haier, Hisense, Tsingtao Brewery, Shandong Energy, and Shandong Gold, and successfully completed the listing of Haier Biomedical, the first company from Qingdao on the Star Market.
