Tian Yuan Law Firm has established a Zhengzhou office to strengthen its presence in the Central Plains region.
With a team of 150 professionals, the Zhengzhou office offers services in areas including comprehensive land utilisation and real estate development, infrastructure construction and investment, financial insurance and trust factoring, capital markets, investment M&A, state-owned asset operation and compliance, international affairs, bankruptcy, criminal law, and civil and commercial administrative dispute resolution and litigation.
Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan province, had a GDP of RMB1.3 trillion in 2022, ranking seventh among all provincial capitals nationwide. Last year, Zhengzhou’s plan for metropolitan area development was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, making it the 10th nationally planned metropolitan area. Centred around Zhengzhou, the metropolitan area has a population close to half of the entire province and contributes approximately 60% of the province’s GDP.
