Biomedical expert Wu Li has joined Lifang & Partners, bringing four colleagues with him to the firm.
Wu, who was a partner of AnJie & BB Law Firm, advises companies in the biomedicine, chemical and medical equipment industries on intellectual property (IP) matters.
He is a registered patent attorney both at China National IP Administration and the US Patent and Trademark Office. Wu has also served as an in-house counsel at AstraZeneca and worked for IP agencies China Sinda and F&S IP.
Wu holds a doctorate in neurobiology and law from Columbia University and has had work published in the British scientific journal Nature.
Wu’s team members Wang Rui, Wu Runzi and Yang Jiang were hired as senior counsels with Sun Qi as senior associate.
