White & Case has hired Daniel Abercromby as a partner in its Asia debt finance and restructuring practice in Hong Kong.
Abercromby joins from Weil Gotshal & Manges in Hong Kong, where he spent just over a year as a partner. He has experience in leveraged and acquisition financings, direct lending transactions and special situation investments, including refinancing and restructuring of such transactions. He advises private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as credit and other special situation funds, on a wide variety of financings in the Asia-Pacific region.
