Simpson Thacher and Davis Polk have advised on Mizuho Financial Group’s (MHFG) USD6.6 billion senior notes offering, which have been listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s Euro MTF Market.
The offering comprised USD1.65 billion of 4.782% senior callable fixed-to-fixed reset rate notes due 2030, USD1.25 billion of 4.965% senior callable fixed-to-fixed reset rate notes due 2032, USD1 billion of 5.337% senior callable fixed-to-fixed reset rate notes due 2037, USD1 billion of 5.824% senior callable fixed-to-fixed reset rate notes due 2047, USD700 million of senior callable floating rate notes due 2030 and USD1 billion of senior callable floating rate notes due 2032.
MarketScreener said offering proceeds would be used for general corporate purposes.
The underwriters were represented by Mizuho Securities USA, Lloyds Securities, Natixis Securities Americas, Standard Chartered Bank and TD Securities (USA).
