One-year-old Verus Advocates has added four new lawyers, converting itself from a sole proprietorship to a partnership firm, effective 1 April.
Verus founder Krishnayan Sen, a former senior associate at Bharucha & Partners, took on fellow senior associates Dipankar Bandyopadhyay and Jay Parikh from Bharucha & Partners as well as litigators Rishad Chowdhury and Sourav Bhagat.
Bandyopadhyay and Parikh have also worked at Amarchand Mangaldas. They will be based in Mumbai to build Verus’s corporate advisory and transactions practice.
