Gehrlicher Solar, a leading producer of photovoltaic modules, has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with environmental technology supplier Greenforce Enviro in India.
The JV offers Gehrlicher entry into the Asian market. Solar pioneer Deepak Gadhia has been appointed the chairman of the JV company, Gehrlicher Solar India. Gadhia founded Gadhia Solar, a solar thermal energy company, which provides energy solutions using parabolic concentrated technology, backed by technical support from HTT in Germany. Gadhia has comprehensive expertise in the renewable energies market, especially in India.
Shareholders of Greenforce include Gadhia and Indian real estate company Soham Group.
