Medical issue prompts Sunita Singh Dalal to step down from Stephenson Harwood

Dubai-based Sunita Singh-Dalal who leads Stephenson Harwood’s private wealth practice in the Middle East has resigned on medical grounds and taken a sabbatical from work.

“I certainly do not intend to disappear and see this as a short sabbatical of sorts for a couple of months,” said Singh-Dalal.

At the private wealth practice firm, her team focuses on assisting clients in the Middle East, Africa and Southwest Asia on cross border private clients, corporate, commercial and dispute resolution issues.

Singh-Dalal joined the firm in 2018, has been proactive with local regulators to spread awareness in India and the Gulf Cooperation Council on the latest developments within the private wealth sector. Her work also involved the new foundations’ regimes implemented by the Abu Dhabi Global Market, RAK International Corporate Centre and Dubai International Financial Centre and UAE Trust Laws.
