Suman Khaitan & Co has advised smartphone renewal services startup ControlZ to secure USD3 million in seed funding.
The firm’s founder and managing partner Suman Jyoti Khaitan led the advisory team alongside advocates Nubair Alvi and Ribhika Singh.
9Unicorns Accelerator Fund and Venture Catalysts co-led this fundraising round, using a combination of debt and equity that will assist ControlZ to enhance its automation capabilities.
The funding will also be used to establish advanced testing labs comparable to original equipment manufacturers to ensure that pre-owned smartphones are refurbished to a “just like new” standard.
