Mumbai-based law firm Solomon & Co Advocates & Solicitors, founded in 1909, elevated associate partners Soniya Putta, Shruti Maniar and Jacqueline Aikin to the firm’s partnership.
Having 13 years of experience, Putta, is a part of the litigation & dispute resolution team. She is proficient in the diverse areas of law including arbitration and dispute resolution, inheritance and succession as well as in real estate and land laws.
Maniar, who joined the law firm in 2017 leads a team of five associates and is a part of the litigation team. Her practice areas include litigation, arbitration and criminal law. She has appeared before Bombay High Court, the Cooperative Court, the National Company Law Tribunal and Debt Recovery Tribunal.
With 15 years of experience, Aikin joined Solomon & Co in 2018 and she heads the practice at Pune. She specialises in corporate and commercial legal advisory, mergers & acquisitions, investments, market entry, cross-border transactions, projects, business contracts, dispute resolution and intellectual property rights.
She became the legal adviser for corporates and high net-worth individuals after spending more than a decade as an in-house counsel.
The firm has also promoted Chaitrali Sawant and Mustafa Bohra as senior associates.
