Shearman & Sterling has elected five counsel and associates to its partnership. The new partners are Alex Bevan in Abu Dhabi, Sidharth Bhasin in Hong Kong, Jonathan DeFossse and Donald Lamson in Washington DC, and Daniel Lewis in New York.
Bevan advises clients on proceedings arising out of investment, construction, and development projects, as well as acquisitions and joint ventures, in a range of industries, including infrastructure, telecoms, power, and oil and gas. He also serves as an arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings.
Bhasin, a key member of Shearman & Sterling’s India practice, advises clients in Asia on private equity investments and exits, mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings and workouts.
