Lalit Maheshwari, a retired member of the Indian Police Services, has joined Capstone Legal to head its white-collar crime and corporate fraud practice in Rajasthan state.
During his career with the police, Maheshwari held the position of deputy inspector general at the anti-corruption bureau in Rajasthan.
He retired in 2019, and enrolled with the Bar Council of Rajasthan as an advocate in the same year. Maheshwari is also a qualified insolvency resolution professional.
“We are sure that Mr Maheshwari’s experience in law enforcement will benefit our clients and further strengthen our white-collar crime, corporate fraud and general criminal practice,” said Vagish Kumar Singh, the managing partner of the firm.
Capstone Legal has offices in Jaipur and Jodhpur. The firm’s key practice areas are arbitration, banking and finance, and litigation.
