DMD Advocates and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) are steering the Investment Fund Denmark on their USD100 million investment in Radiance Renewables, an India-focused commercial and industrial renewable energy platform backed by Eversource Capital.
DMD is representing the Investment Fund Denmark (formerly IFU) and FMO, the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank.
The transaction was led by senior partner Rashi Dhir and partner Saiyam Chaturvedi, supported by counsel Kajal Tandon and associates Priyanka Hazarika and Aditi Kumari. They were further supported by the due diligence team led by Tarinee Sudan.
Under the transaction, the Investment Fund Denmark and FMO have each committed about USD50 million, resulting in a total capital infusion of USD100 million. The investment will support Radiance Renewables’ next phase of growth, including expansion across solar, hybrid wind-solar and battery energy storage projects in India.
CAM advised Radiance Renewables. The core deal team was led by partners Aditi Manchanda and Abhishek Kalra, with assistance from principal associate – designate Chandni Ochani and senior associates Deepjoyika Dastidar and Geetika Myer.
The transaction remains subject to the fulfilment of customary conditions precedent and receipt of regulatory approvals.
