Norton Rose has announced that Lynn Yang is to join its corporate team in Shanghai as a partner next month. The move will strengthen the firm’s corporate and M&A capability in China.
Yang joins from Allen & Overy, where she was of counsel. With over 14 years’ experience, she has acted on many China-related matters, particularly in the areas of securities, funds, insurance, regulatory issues and M&A. Her record includes the acquisition of mainland based financial institutions, and the reorganization of investment portfolios and foreign direct investment.
“Lynn’s experience in the corporate market is a particularly good fit for us,” said Justin Wilson, partner in Norton Rose’s Shanghai office.
Yang’s appointment will bring the total headcount at partner level to 44 across Norton Rose’s offices in Asia.
