Nishith Desai Associates has launched a mobile phone application called Nishith mobile in an effort to give clients greater access to knowledge on legal, tax and regulatory subjects.
The aim of the application is to update and educate users on an ongoing basis “by providing prompt and live access to the changing business environment in India”, according to the firm. Android, Apple and Blackberry users can all access the application, which took six to eight months to develop.
The application’s design framework and the content management system (CMS) were developed entirely by Nishith Desai Associates’ in-house team. The plug-in was developed with the help of a UK-based mobile company and the template designs were developed by German designers.
