Khaitan & Co unveiled a new logo during its centenary celebration on 9 March at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. The new logo is a bright blue circular motif, which Khaitan & Co said would “reflect the vigour and modern outlook of the firm towards servicing its clients in the new century”. It replaced the silver-bordered diamond-shaped emblem that Khaitan had used previously.

The firm wanted to rebrand itself and “sought to do so by redesigning and adopting a modern and crisp look and colour,” said Rabindra Jhunjhunwala, a partner at the firm. “The new logo is meant to emphasize our ambition to become a leader in the field, a high performance Indian law firm, both modern and unparalleled.”

The centenary celebration was attended by 450 guests, including some from overseas. During the celebration, the firm released Amicus Curiae, a 385-page book that describes the history and development of the firm.
