Mayer Brown has announced the recruitment of Lu Guiping, Philip Hyde, Bonnie Yung and Jason Wang to its corporate and securities practice in Hong Kong.
Lu and Hyde, along with their debt capital markets team, joined from K&L Gates, where they were partners. Lu’s practice is focused on international debt market transactions. He also advises on high-yield bond offerings.
With more than 25 years of experience, Hyde advises on a range of debt capital markets, structured finance, derivatives, and securitisation transactions, with a particular focus on advising trustees on all aspects of their transactions.
Yung and Wang joined from LC Lawyers, the Hong Kong law firm member of the EY global network, and were both at Paul Hastings prior to that. Yung has experience in general corporate matters and corporate finance transactions such as IPOs, M&A, private equity investments, corporate restructurings and transactions.
Wang has acted on Hong Kong IPO deals, large-scale cross-border M&A, private equity investments, post-IPO fundraising and corporate compliance matters with Hong Kong-listed companies.
